For demonstration, the regions below are colored red over an albino Ammonite. This section displays the Ammonite's natural colors and regions. The mouth is vertically orientated with teeth. The Ammonite resembles a Nautilus, but much bigger, comparable in size to some of the largest of fossil species, bearing 10 tentacles and a large spiral shell. However, when attacked, it will release a green, inky substance into the water, causing all wild animals nearby to become aggressive including nearby land animals. Unlike the majority of animals in the ocean, the Ammonite is a passive animal that won't fight back. This bile can then be worked over with other chemicals to produce powerful concoctions, the most notable being a mixture that causes creatures to become enraged and attack the source of the scent. If a tribe is willing to risk the wrath of nearby would-be protectors, Ammonitina bile can be harvested from the innards of its corpse. Like many of the untameable ocean dwellers, Ammonitina still has enough utility to be a valuable hunting target. Even within these caves, the creature will draw attention if assaulted, making harvesting its resource-rich shell a tricky proposition, depending on what other dangers may be lurking nearby. What this distinct symbiosis is based on, alas, I have not yet discovered.Īmmonitina has also made its way into the deeper parts of many underwater caves. It must do something beneficial for them since every nearby sea creature defends Ammonitina when it is attacked. Ammonites’ deep earthen energy provides us with guidance and leadership to further distance ourselves from harmful situations (much like our Ammonite friend had to do each and every day).Usually found in the deepest parts of the water around the island, Amonitina multiamicus has a strange relationship with the other creatures of the deep. The natural predatory instinct of all creatures on Earth when we are being prayed upon causes us to activate our intuition and listen to our voice of reason. Each day our energies are given to the wrong person and have the ability to result in being taken advantage of. This is very reminiscent of our own place in this world today. These ancient mollusks were widely hunted, yet thrived on fear to be able to progress and develop over time. This was a testament to their will to not only live but become intelligent enough to outwit millions of years of evolutionary creatures. They roamed our seas freely for nearly 350 million years. Primordial OriginsĪmmonites were one of the longest living creatures this world has ever seen. Only when we learn from our ancestral past can we grow and change. These attributes of Earth’s first biological creatures can still be felt today when meditating with a mind willing to understand and accept the past. The energies in which they held were abundant in strength, perseverance, and longevity. These creatures lived in a habitat capable of creating megalith animals partially due to the heightened oxygen levels within Earth’s atmosphere. Much like Petrified Wood and Orthoceras, Ammonites were alive and well during a much different world than what we see today. Ammonites are one of the very few meditation trinkets that contain ancient life force energy capable of being channeled into the present day.
